In multiple occasions, he was awarded the title of Heavyweight. Johnson continued to translate his fame in the wrestling ring into a successful career as an actor in film as well, appearing on The Mummy Returns and Tooth Fairy. Other projects later included his role in the HBO series Ballers prominent roles in the Fast & Furious franchise and the Jumanji sequels and a voice acting role as Maui for the Disney movie Moana. Johnson's youth was spent on the road and watching his father wrestle in the boxing ring. Johnson was a star in football, and continued to play throughout the high school years. That same year Johnson graduated with a Master in General Studies in physiology and criminology.
