The beauty of Alana De La Garza is awe-inspiring even on tiny screens. De La Garza's parents were Mexican-American and Irish-American. The actress was born in Ohio's Columbus on the 26th of December, 1976. The family moved to Texas to pursue the career of a physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas prior to moving to Orlando, Florida. In Orlando, she played a range of roles from local independent films to international commercials. Despite small roles, she discovered her passion for acting. Then she moved into New York in 2001 and she got her first job in acting on the soap as Rosa Santos on All My Children A daytime soap. She had minor roles on JAG the Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men during the first half of 2000. The first time she had a major role in a series was on the short-lived 2004 television drama The Mountain. De La Garza, who played Maria Serrano on The Mountain had the privilege of appearing alongside a number of the top TV actors, such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch Pilegget. The most memorable part of her career came in 2006 on Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was a part of 85 episodes. Her next role was on the brief-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. This particular character earned De La Garza many nominations including Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. She was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on the dramatic TV series of National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then cast as a recurring actor in CSI Miami. She was Marisol Deko and was also the the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio. Her most current TV work was on NBC's somewhat dark show Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. The show was ended after just two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Milano was born Italian and has a 10 year old younger brother named Cory. The family she was raised in was a religious and conservative family. Milano was able to begin her acting career at seven when her babysitter took her on an audition for acting. She was one of four girls selected out of more than 1,000 aspirants. Milano was featured in commercials in both Broadway and on TV and in the American musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
